She might have piggytails and pink...

but that doesn't mean she can't play in the dirt. She played in the dirt, digging it with her pointer finger. I couldn't get her to go inside. She loves to play outside.

Avery- say "Cheese"!

This is the silly face that Avery makes now every time she sees a camera. Nice, huh?

Fun at the Mall

Avery and I went to the mall one morning with Grandma VZ since she was on spring break. Avery had fun riding the carousel with Grandma, riding Bob the Builder and checking for candy. She actually got lucky and found a couple pieces! After that, she checked each one over and over again, just in case.

Yummy!

Avery had some pudding for dessert one night- I think she liked it!

Ouch!

Poor kiddo. She wanted to go outside by her daddy so bad that she walked right off the back steps onto the bricks forgetting completely to go down the steps the right way. Luckily, the mark on her forehead changed to a light bruise very quickly and then went away. Oh, boy...

The Easter Bunny

My friend Missy and I took our kids to the mall today to see the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny was a little tardy but that was okay cuz Avery enjoyed checking out his space all by herself. She was a little unsure when he did show up and did not want to get her picture taken by herself with him so I got to join the fun. She prefered to sit in his chair all by herself.

I Love this Girl

I am always amazed at how much I love Avery. As she grows and gets smarter that love just gets bigger. I am so thankful for all the time I get to spend with her. I am so thankful to Kraig that he works so hard so that I only have to work part time and spend most of my time with her. We thank God for all of the blessings in our life.

Playing

Avery playing with her little people zoo. She is getting so smart. She like to repeat what all of the animals say.

Playing outside

Avery loves to be able to go outside and play now that it is getting nice outside. We played on the tennis courts and she was watching the big kids play basketball.

Buddies

Avery and Roscoe and best buddies. It's fun to watch Avery play with Roscoe- she loves that dog so much. On this day, they were exploring the backyard for more "treasures".

Treasures

Friday was such a nice day that Grandma VZ took Avery for a walk in the park while I was at work. These are the treasures that they collected. It's nice to see the sun and have a few nicer days that we can get outside again. Avery loves to be outdoors. This will be a very fun summer.

Mommy's Chair

My parents brought out my old rocking chair for Avery when we were at their house. She liked rocking the teddy in it. I had my 2 year pictures taken in it at home because I wouldn't behave at a studio. :) It was fun to see Avery in it. These are times I can't believe I have a daughter of my own. She is so special to us.

Gymboree

I took Avery to Gymboree today for a Play and Learn class. We had so much fun. She got to climb on things, jump on things, play with balls, play with bubbles and a big parachute. She loved it.
She is at such a fun age. Every day she learns something new-she is so smart. We love her so much. She brings so much joy and laughter to our lives.

Snow Fun

We got some snow last night so we decided to get Avery all bundled up and go outside for some sledding. This is the first time that I have gotten to go out with Avery, she went out one other time with her Grandma. She had a lot of fun and so did Roscoe. It didn't last long before we all got cold but it was worth it.

Where is Avery now?

Today while I was at work, Kraig found Avery in our cupboard and she had dumped out a box of plastic silverware. Oh my- she gets into everything.

The things she loves...

Avery has 2 things that she is very attached to. The teddy that she is clutching in the picture and the red sippy cup. The red sippy cup has been breaking for awhile now but she doesn't care, she loves it. No other sippy cup will do. So...we bought some more. :)

Four generations

"Children are born, traditions are passed, the love continues on." I feel so blessed that both of my grandma's can be a part of Avery's life.

More Fun

More creative activities...This time Kraig made a "slide" for Avery with the cushion of our chair. She doesn't even care if she lands on her face.

Time out

This is what Avery thought about time out. Do you think it worked?

Avery & Mommy

I LOVE THIS GIRL!

Mmmmm...cereal

Avery loves cereal and can get into the cupboard that it is in. She brings me the box several times a day and says "Seese" ("please")

Getting Creative

Again, since we are stuck inside a lot, I have been getting creative with activities for Avery to do. On this day, I decided to pour rice on her highchair tray and play with her trucks. SHE LOVED IT. I had to clean up a huge mess but it was worth the fun.

Great Wolf Lodge

We went to Great Wolf Lodge this weekend with the whole Kuipers' family. We all had a great time. Avery LOVED it and we loved watching her. I never got really good pictures because she was too busy playing to take pictures but we got some. Enjoy!

Fun with t.p.

Since we can't go outside cuz it's freezing and Avery doesn't always sleep much we have to be creative. This day we played with t.p. Who knew that it made such a fun toy. It kept her occupied for a VERY long time.

My thoughts exactly...

I don't think Avery was too excited about dirty laundry-what do you think?

Aunt Jenni

Avery loves her Aunt Jenni and why wouldn't she- she spoils her rotten. :)
I just loved this picture and had to post it.
